Our playroom
is a safe, secure and fun environment
for children to develop through all
aspects of play. We provide activities
where children can build on those they have experienced in our
polar room and provide new experiences
relevant to the children’s interests and
capabilities.
We offer
activities and opportunities which are
enticing, attractive and natural and
encourage children to explore by
touching and feeling and using other
senses.
Activities
are provided where children can learn
new experiences and become more
independent in their self-help skills,
with praise and encouragement from
staff.
We respect
each child and their families as
individuals, taking into account
individual needs. We will respect
parents’ wishes, giving feedback on a
daily basis on how their child is
developing.
Our
play rooms open out onto a shaded
veranda area and a large grassed area
which is partly shaded, where children can
enjoy all the benefits of outdoor fun
and fresh air.
