Young
children learn and develop to their best
ability through play. They enjoy
exploring the world around them in a
safe, stimulating and secure
environment. Children at this stage
display a natural curiosity and
willingness to explore the activities
provided for them.
A wide
variety of experiences are on offer
daily using our array of resources
supplemented by interesting seasonal and
topical activities. Children can also
enjoy outdoor play in their own
extensive,
well-equipped garden.
We interact
with the children in large and small
groups as well as on a one-to-one basis
throughout the nursery day. Praise and
encouragement are given to boost
confidence and self esteem and children
are encouraged to try new things
independently.
Children are
treated as individuals and caring and
supportive staff ensure each child’s
needs are met. All children are
encouraged to learn at their own pace
allowing them to grow into confident
individuals and they are challenged in
their learning to ensure they reach
their full potential.
The nursery
promotes healthy eating as well as good
table manners and a variety of freshly
prepared meals and snacks are provided
each day by our own cook.
